Hello,

My name is Felix Heller, and I am from Mannheim. I’m 18 years old and have just finished my A-levels. About a year ago, I started thinking about what I wanted to do next. I quickly realised that I didn’t want to go straight to university after the G8 system, but instead wanted to spend a year doing voluntary work. I decided early on that I wanted to spend this time abroad.

I’d like to immerse myself in a different culture and experience it more deeply than a tourist passing through.

While looking for an opportunity, a neighbour recommended EMS to me. After hearing enthusiastic reports from alumni at the selection seminar, I decided to choose India as my first destination. I’m absolutely delighted that I’ll ultimately be heading to Udupi.

After meeting David, my predecessor at the boarding house, I am even more excited to make new friends, have exciting experiences, and get to know the boys at the boarding house.
