Hey!

My name is Odwa Sibabalwe Sikisi. Here’s a little bit about me. 😊

I’m 25 years old and I come from South Africa. I’m from a small city called Paarl, which is near Cape Town. I live in Daaljosaphat and attend the Moravian Church in Mbekweni.

I’m also a proud mum to my amazing four-year-old son, who keeps me on my toes and fills my life with joy.

I’m currently single and focused on growing, learning and making the most of every opportunity that comes my way. I’m really proud that I can speak six languages: Isixhosa, Isizulu, Afrikaans, English, Sisotho and German — and yes, German is one of them!

I’m currently volunteering in Herrnhaag for 12 months. My daily tasks include preparing guest rooms, cleaning the house and helping to prepare wood for the heating system, ensuring the rooms are warm and there is always hot water for bathing. It’s practical work, but I enjoy it because I can see the difference it makes to people’s lives.

While I’m here, I’m also excited to learn more about German traditions and further improve my language skills. Being in a new environment and soaking up a different culture is such a beautiful experience.

In my free time, I love dancing (like, really love it 😄), listening to music and going for bike rides. These little things keep me happy and balanced.
